Our Story

Poseys and Pumpkins is run by Ralph and Kim Shatto and their 3 kids Mackenzey, Mikaela and Ethan.

Our Farm is located 1.6 miles east off State Highway 3 between North Vernon and Westport, IN.

Poseys and Pumpkins began in 1998 when Kim left her banking job to stay home with Mackenzey and Mikaela. No greenhouses, just 1/4 acre of cut flowers and a dream. In 2002 came Ethan, along with 7800 sq ft of greenhouse space and a few thousand mums. Over the following years Poseys and Pumpkins has grown to over 3 acres of greenhouse space, 20,000 mums, nearly 10,000 hanging baskets and acres of produce. In addition to produce, cut and potted flowers Poseys and Pumpkins also raises free range pork, beef, meat chickens and eggs. In the recent years Mackenzey has branched off and started Petals and Feathers, a full-service floral shop. Mackenzey began making floral arrangements with our fresh cut flowers for any occasion including weddings, funerals, holidays and more.
